| Me. Uninteresting, huh? |
See any Huns around?
No? Darn. I suppose I'll have to talk about myself, now.
So that girl in the picture is me. I look worse in real life, but professional photographers are good at lying to the camera.
I am a lot of things.
I am a thirteen-year-old Amerasian girl with a love for the morbid and strange, a hatred of the horror genre, and a great dislike of the human race in general.
My name isn't actually Quill (for one, that's a guy's name, two, my parents are a little more orthodox in their naming), but I wish it was. I'm still working on a pen name for myself, but you can betcha that either Quill or Quilla will be the first name of it.
I count myself a writer. I have been writing since I could hold a pencil, which was around three years old.
I would call that first and foremost, except I also identify myself almost as much as an artist. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil. My first stories were often illustrated.
I like Norse mythology. Norse mythology is amazing, especially when it involves Loki in some way. Before you say he's evil, he's not, and I can rant for hours about it if you want, and debate you into the ground. Seeeeeriously, people, just look at golden-boy Thor, who tried to kill somebody for snoring too loud.
I also like cats. I love their slinky grace and soft fur and eyes and personality. They're gorgeous and independent and mesmerizing.
My favorite thing to write is High Fantasy. Currently, I'm working on several High Fantasies and a steampunk/futuristic/dystopian.
Two of my best friends are Cactus Maye and Cecilie Lyth Leyimi Deltasi Adun. Both of them have wonderful blogs and stories. I invite you to check out their blogs. Their stories, well, you'll have to ask them for those. We writers are a touchy lot about who gets to read their work.
I mention my friends because they are a) my friends and b) likely to show up in some posts. I'll tend to refer to them by their names on the One Year Adventure Novel forum, which would be Midnight Aster and ninjadragon99, or as most call them, Aster and Ninja. Just a heads up for those of you who didn't want to look through all of my blog posts to figure out who these people with the weird names were.
So that's me. Anything you see on this blog, unless I expressly state otherwise, is mine. No touching.
Did I forget to mention I'm completely mad? Because I am. Irredeemably insane. I talk to people who aren't there. Insert Cheshire grin here.
Far vel!
(For those of you less geeky, that means "goodbye" in Old Norse. Goodbye.)
